Apple Profit Nearly Doubles to $21.7 Billion as COVID-19 Lockdowns Eased

Apple said its profit in the just-ended quarter nearly doubled amid improving consumer spending and a "growing sense of optimism" as COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns eased.
