Huawei has reportedly made breakthroughs in tools used to create 14nm chips. The company will complete testing on electronic design automation (EDA) tools this year, according to rotating chairman Xu Zhijun's speech last month. Huawei has developed 78 tools related to chip hardware and software, according to a report.
